Tickets for the Sgt. John Basilone Lodge annual "Chinese Auction - Italian Style" are now on sale.
The event is our primary charity fundraiser for the year and always sells out. The auction will take place on Saturday, April 14, in St. Lawrence The Martyr Parish Hall in Sayville. The Parish Hall is located on the first floor of Prince of Peace School, 200 Main Street - at the corner of Montauk Highway and Handsome Avenue, across the street from St. Lawrence Church. Doors will open at 6 pm. No tickets will be sold at the door - you must purchase your tickets beforehand while they last.
Admission is $15 and includes 26 bidding tickets, a reserved seat, coffee/tea, desserts and door prizes. There will be over 200 new, quality prizes including many gift baskets, gift certificates and special prizes valued at more than $100. A grand prize is also planned.
Additional sheets of 26 bidding tickets will cost $2 per sheet or 3 sheets for $5. Special prize tickets will be sold for $1 each, 7 for $5 or 20 for $10. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with tickets priced the same as those for special prize items. Hot dogs will be available for purchase as well. (You may bring your own food if you wish).
